I am so happy about this! I’ve had a goofy smile on my face since yesterday.

I’ve worked at Target the past 8 years, with breaks for school/other jobs, and transferred to a new store about a year ago. The management wasn’t awesome at this one, and I felt with my brand new college degree I should be making more money, so I started looking for a new job…

And I found one! I’m Intuit’s newest employee. It’s a four dollar an hour raise, benefits, possible quarterly bonuses, I’ve heard nothing but great things about working there. My training starts in two weeks and I am so excited! I am thrilled to be moving on with my life.

Very Cool! $4 an hour is huge! That is a car payment plus insurance!

I would like to quit my job, but my salary is too good. I’d be back to paycheck-to-paycheck with most any other job in my field, at least until I worked my way up the step ladder again.

You’re awesome for just coming right out and saying it. :slight_smile: I know a lot of us were worried after the last thread about that guy.
I would be surprised if the guy is gone yet, but I hope that the extra money helps with getting away from him when the last straw finally comes.

I know EXACTLY how you feel. Great, isn’t it? After grad school, I got a real job and said goodbye to the grocery store.
