Really, please, we all have rough spots. I’ve been going through a bit of one myself. Things will change for the better, they always do (although it may not seem like it right now). From what I’ve seen you have more people on this board who care deeply about you than I could shake a stick at, and I’m positive they would be greatly saddened to see you leave. Heck, I’m a relative newbie and I would hate to see you leave.
Please take a second to think all of this out. Rash decisions are usually not for the better in my experience.

Except that, if you really want to, then it is your own business, and not mine, but please don’t. Why, when we newbies have just got used spelling your name?
I expect moderating is a pretty thankless business - after all, one can only go so far on vitual chocolate, but please don’t go. You must not go - there are indications that you are wanted by a very popular vote, for goodness sake!

Euty, rest assured that, if you have decided to leave, you will be sorely missed. I know that I, and many others, hold an incredibly amount of respect for you, your kind wit, and the special something that you brought to this board.
You will be missed, friend, and, should you return, rest assured there will always be a place reserved for you in Cecil’s court, right up front, where all us Dopers can shake your hand and tell you how nice it is to have you back.
