On my way to work this morning, I saw a vanity license plate (Ohio) that said: GRR ARGH. That’s great!
For those of you that were just whooshed, here’s the reference.

Too funny. I am just introducing my son to Buffy and when an episode finishes, he never wants me to skip to the next one - he wants to see the Mutant Enemy bit…
Monday, last week, on Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday holiday I saw IVADREAM.
Years ago, in Virginia, I saw…
** BAA BAA **
It was on a black Jeep.
My favourite is a computer programmer who drives a VW beetle. The plate is FEATURE.
DEBUG would’ve been funnier.
My favorite ever was a New Hampshire plate:
& SQURRL
It made one person smile on a dark and stormy morning on Rte. 3.
Runner up is “PMGRL” on a cute little Mercedes convertible. Mom and I just looked at each other and I sighed, “I wonder how she makes her living”.
[I love the VW one.]
I saw my favorite on a beat-up Delorean (a find in and of itself!): FLUXING. I’ve got a picture of it somewhere.
I’d love to see the pic! I’ve always dreamed of having one. When I was a teenager, my brother and I decided that mine would have a license plate that says “ERTHANGL.” His DeLorean would have a plate the read “SLACKER.” Our favorite movie of all time–the one thing my little brother and I could agree on.
I saw one once that said:
GOZ 211
Ask and ye shall receive: FLUXING
I love it, but can you really get “&” on a NH plate? Here in WI we can have only alphanumerics. (Was it pasted on or something?)
ETA: Apparently you can, according to the NH DMV. D’oh!
Back in 1991, I was driving behind one that read PANDNH4.
A friend of mine has a Jaguar convertible. The plate on it is GRRRR.
Eh, I dunno. I like the implied, “it’s not a bug, it’s a feature”.
Someone in my neighborhood has “BELZBUB.” I wonder who they know to get that one through.
My favorite was still YOURN.
The owner was a urologist.
Someone round here used L1NUX.
Some of these I don’t get.
I saw a BMW with “NI KAP” in a hospital car park last year. This being Northern Ireland, I’m not 100% sure whether it belongs to an orthopaedic surgeon or a paramilitary boss.
The reason behind my username on the boards was a license plate made for me that said Phlsphr
