It was parked in front of the commisary at Naval Station Norfolk. Completely Awesome. I got a few photos, including one of me standing in front of it that I plan to frame and give to my parents for Christmas. The drivers were really friendly, and projected an image of multicultural wholesomeness that Kraft foods can be justifiably proud of. Chris, Amanda, and Cheeya, if you’re reading this I salute you* and wish you Godspeed as you spread the gospel of processed my by-products through America’s heartland.
*And apologize for misspelling your name, Cheeyah.
I remember seeing that thing parked in a driveway in Montgomery county Pa one time. Imagine being issued that company car? I wonder if there’s only one or if there’s a fleet of wieners.
I saw it broken down on the side of the road on the way back from Florida. Pulled on the side of the road, hood open with steam shooting out. I wish I had a camera handy.
Oscar Mayer headquarters is in Madison, Wisconsin so they probably all have Wisconsin plates. I saw one on the interstate coming home from work a couple of weeks ago.
A few years ago I saw the Weinermobile parked at the Wendy’s near my parents’ house. Guess they got sick of hot dogs and wanted square hamburgers instead.
One day on my noontime run along Chicago’s lakefront I saw a flock of 3 weinermobiles on the peninsula that sticks out into Lake Mich with the Adler Planetarium.
