You have a valid point, but please note, I am not calling him an ass or asking for him to stop posting. I have not called him a troll. This was close to MPSIMSing him more than pitting him except I don’t think I could call him stupid outside the pit.
I have basically asked him to fact check and cut back on his stupid Ops. I also realize that it bothers me more as honestly I spend too much time on the board and see most of his stupid Ops where most posters only see a smaller portion. I have also seen over 3+ years a lot of misinformation put out by him, but I am not enough of a mental case to have kept notes on it to make this a proper pitting.
It appears other posters that spend a lot of time posting and reading have also picked up on his general level of stupidity in posting.

I don’t understand this logic or why it somehow lessens the hatefulness and total lack of class of the guy’s comment. You don’t make digs at the appearances of other people’s significant others or families. It’s just one of those things You Do Not Do. Especially some racist comment like the one he made. It was over the top, I admit. No, I don’t actually want people to die. I just…you know…hate those assholes. It’d be hard not to, if you read some of the stuff they write. I take it that it’s not supposed to be talked about here so that’s the last I’ll say of it.
I’m still curious as to whether or not this guy is going to get a warning or some other form of official reprimand for what he did. There are things I said here that would warrant it in my case and I accept that - I wrote what I did knowing that I’d probably be warned for it, and that since I didn’t have any strikes against me already, I’d just have to eat the penalty and move on. Fine. I won’t blame you if you do - you have to be consistent with the rules.
What has happened here? The board was down for what seemed like an hour, and now it says there are only 150 replies to this thread, whereas there are actually 152. Are there some errors with the website? Am I the only one noticing this or have others also?
Are all of you people somehow saying that I shouldn’t be upset at what that guy said because, you know, I posted the pictures in the first place? If so, I really don’t understand that at all. Should I also completely stop posting anything on this forum, out of fear that someone will say negative things about it?
I’m a big believer in free speech and I don’t think people should be too thin-skinned about things. But those comments were beyond the pale. I don’t care what other circumstances were surrounding the discussion. He was out of line, way out of line, any way you look at it.

What he said was pretty harsh, but why do you care? Honestly, why? Some people are going to think your girlfriend is hot, some people are going to think she’s unattractive. I understand what you’re saying but this forum is not like every other site on the internet. There is a standard of decency here that people should be expected to abide by. This is not IMDB or the comments section of Youtube. This is a moderated forum with specific rules and restrictions, and also a “community” where there’s an implicit trust that you’re not just going to get pounced on with some racist and psychopathic remark out of nowhere, for absolutely no reason at all.
I’d expect this shit from the low-brow dregs of the online forums, but not here.
