I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to offend anyone. It seems my previous nickname has quickly been blocked from posting. I didn’t mean to come off as rude or annoying. I guess that’s just my silly self. So, let me start off here by introducing myself:
My name is Rick. I play saxophone in a ska band here in Columbus, Ohio called JerkWaterJive. Check out the site there, we have our music online and free to download. I am an old high school friend of a current member of the board (I believe her name is Drain Bead) and am on many other MB’s all over the net, and this one seems to have a high intellegence average compared to alot of them (Korn bbs to name one 
). I enjoy all kinds of music and am usually putting off alot of work just to enjoy intelligent conversations on BB’s.

Yeah, I know why he has that name. Way, way back, we used to hang out at a coffee house that was called Idiot Boy (for a couple of years, anyway–the place had several incarnations before finally kicking the bucket). Rick goes by the idiot8oy name in several other places.

And don’t mind the mods…they’re being overly sensitive lately for other reasons. I’m sure they’ll give you your old name back once they see this.

I don’t know if you know, but I did the same with Katie on New Year’s Eve. It was a big surprise for her. She was expecting the ring for Christmas and was very disappointed when it didn’t happen.

No, haven’t played in Mansfield yet. But we’ve been playing in Columbus for 2 years now. And we played at Miami U. a month or 2 ago. And what is BIS? I’m trying to figure it out…I’ll probly figure it out before you reply, but I needed to ask. It’s hard to catagorize our music. It’s almost like 3rd or even 4th wave ska… We’re creating new boundaries!
