Oh, all right, I’ll say it: Justice Scalia is a homophobe.
There, happy now?

You mean like this thread?
Note he said “threads”, and in fact there are!!
You’re a filthy fucking racist. Asshole.
I admit I didn’t see either of those IMHO threads… but I’ll note that both died pretty much as soon as it was pointed out that there was a GD thread.
I don’t get it.
Well, now that it’s been pointed out which sandbox you can pee in and which sandbox your castles get kicked over in, maybe you should try to revive those IMHO threads. Or better yet, improve upon those shitty IMHO threads that didn’t utilize the polling function, which this topic practically screams out for.
When you become tim321, we’ll explain it to you.
I have a position on the existence of this thread, but I’m not going to tell you what it is.
He’s homophonic. If you were a mountain, he’d scale ya.
Scalia is a homophobe and this thread is awesome.
nm.
Too bad, he probably knows some good ones.
This blog post from Rachel Maddow’s boy-toy, Ezra Klein…
Scalia’s gay adoption claim: Even wronger than I thought
He goes on to quote an official statement on the matter, but I won’t make you read that.
But the punch line:
Must not have read it. And really, why should he? What good are a bunch of facts to somebody who knows the truth? I resolve to stop calling him “Fat Tony” Scalia. From now on, he’s Mr. Science.
Why? He’s certainly heftier than the Simpsons character.
I’ve decided to share in your sickness and will be posting random observations to this thread every two days or so until I get tired of it, or for six months, whichever is longer.
I’m not going to say that this thread is awesome, but I don’t quite think that I am not of the opinion that it isn’t not awesome. I think.
I felt that she summed Scalia perfectly in her interview on The Daily Show when she called him a troll, that he says things just to get a rise out of people.
As far as I know, that was the first time the term was used on the show.
You know, a couple years ago I think I would have argued that Scalia was an intelligent but morally reprehensible man, and yet not a troll. But after the whole “don’t obligate yourself to that” there’s just no way he’s NOT a troll.
Really Justice Scalia? Don’t obligate ourselves to treating people for life threatening conditions in the ER without making sure they can pay for everything ahead of time? REALLY? That’s a troll statement right there. There is absolutely no defense for it.
Umm, it’s worse to be morally reprehensible than to be a troll. Scalia is multifacted, he’s both. Like a Twix of evil conservatism.
