Ugh, did anyone see the “news” page on his/her Mission America site? It’s “Good News” that “A controversial program that trained students as young as sixth grade to report peers for verbal comments criticizing homosexuality has been scrapped by the state of West Virginia.”
Of course, when they say ‘verbal comments criticizing homosexuality’ I doubt they mean meaningful 6th grade debates on homosexuality. Of course, they are talking about harrassing gay kids, calling them faggots, and making life hell for them.

DrChuckie, why do you have such a hard-on for homosexuality as opposed to other forms of extramarital sex? Presumably heterosexuals who live together are just as guilty as homosexuals. I would also like to understand why you feel the secular USA should enforce what is essentially a religious proscription that doesn’t coerce anyone against their will. Homosexuality is against my personal morality, but I fully support gay rights and the legalization of gay marriage.

All my life, I’ve wanted to see the kind of homophobic claptrap that DrC spews treated with the respect it deserves. I’ve wanted to see it treated the same as KKK or neo-nazi propaganda; something to be put up with, but ridiculed. Something that only the most hateful of people would ascribe to.
