And Trump said all this at a rally of his supporters - the people he told this to. This is Trump’s declaration to the people who voted for him: “Wake up, idiots. Everything I told you was a lie. I lied to you to get your votes and you were dumb enough to believe me. Now that I’m elected I don’t need you any more. So fuck all of you. I’m going back to Washington and Manhattan to spend the next four years hanging out with the people who still matter.”

I don’t agree with it, but in 2008 and 2009 a lot of us on the left were calling for legal sanctions against Bush & Cheney too. So this isn’t without precedent.
Of course they committed crimes, but those crimes started under Clinton and an honest investigation would’ve found that out. So under the rug it went.

I would respond that she’s been exonerated by the courts, but in many cases, she hasn’t. Despite decades of investigations, there wasn’t even enough evidence to be worth prosecuting.
But, hey, why should we need evidence? Trump himself praised Saddam Hussein’s criminal justice techniques: arrest them, torture a confession out of them and then execute them. Yeah, surely that’s what will make America great again… :smack:
The idiot contends that she should be in prison for her handling of classified material. However, 2 posters (I am one of them) who have worked with highly classified material and have experience seeing the penalties that have meted out for the mishandling of classified material have informed him, to no avail, that there is no way in fucking hell she would have been imprisoned for it. But the shit-for-brains is impervious to facts, as we all know.
