I was reading an article on the Hill, and the comments had plenty of people still lamenting the fact that she likely won’t be jailed and locked up, even though she deserves it…
This is not genteel and kind on my part, but if it were in my power, such hateful and vindictive people would be blasted by a bolt of lightning and knocked unconscious. Not to the point of death, but I’d want a sort of cosmic striking down of such people beyond mere words. That or have them jailed for similar non crimes.
The most galling thing about Hillary derangement is that it seems like it’s always people trying to drown out something else: Their own pain and ignorance; but especially any philosophical or political argument that could ever make any difference.
It’s the modern-day version of the simple-minded peasants of ye olden days, wanting to burn the witch for being a woman and having a cat and believing that drowning her will restore their withered crops/bring back their goddamn honey.
I’m surprised they haven’t stormed the village of Chappaqua, with torches and pitch forks.
These people have been told to hate E̶m̶m̶a̶n̶u̶e̶l̶ ̶G̶o̶l̶d̶s̶t̶e̶i̶n̶ her and they straddle up and do their duty. After all, she personally ordered the military to stand down from responding to Benghazi as somewhat alluded to in the Michael Bay documentary “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi”, she covered up the murder of Vince Foster, and she’s been running a pedophile sex ring from a pizza place in Washington, D.C.
OK so she’s qualified to be POTUS, but what did she do wrong?

For me it’s the people who swear she’s a pedophile and murderer who somehow has the pull to not only keep from being arrested, but does so in order to run for the most visible office on Earth (yet not a peep or a leaked interview w/ any victim or their family member). This makes perfect sense to them. Their doggedness in defending ridiculous lies are a big part of why I left Facebook a month ago, it makes me so ugly mad that there’s no amount of truth I can show them that will make a difference in what they want to believe. I cannot reconcile it.
You’d think the fact that von Clownstick doesn’t give a shit anymore about locking up Hillary would be a tipoff to his patsies that he was conning them the whole time.
But there may not be a big enough clue-by-four in this world to make them realize they got suckered into a cargo cult.
If I were Hillary Clinton, I would not let it go. I’d be giving interviews at least once a week saying “I’m looking forward to my day in court,” incessantly taunting him to appoint that prosecutor he promised. If he doesn’t follow through, it reminds people what an empty suit he is… And if he calls the bluff, so much the better. It will cost a lot of money and produce no results at all except making him look stupid. The vast, vast majority of people, even those who voted for him, will quickly lose patience with the proceedings, like they did with the impeachment thing, and he and his party will pay the price.
And meanwhile, Clinton has nothing to lose at all.

I’m not disagreeing with your post in it’s entirety but I will say there is always an opportunity cost. she has the time it takes to lose, and whatever else she could be doing with that time.
Clinton is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Just like everyone else.
I doubt if any of them cared if Hillary was prosecuted at all. The point of the ‘lock her up’ chants was getting their endorphins up with the group hug of a five-minute hate.
They’ll probably be looking round for a new slogan though, that they can all yell together in that comforting kind of way

Pretty much exactly what i came to say.
While i have absolutely no desire to see Clinton imprisoned, or subjected to any hardship at all, i really wish that Trump would follow through on his promise to pursue her for her alleged crimes. That way, the deranged morons that make up a substantial portion of his base would be front and center in the public eye, and their raving lunacy would have institutional support and backing.
