I think I got an unfair bad rating from a restaurant doing DoorDash, what to do

One night, I think it was late April, I received a delivery request from a restaurant, and I was literally on the same block at the 7-11. I went to that restaurant within a couple of minutes, well within my scheduled pickup time, and an employee there said that the order had been ready for a while and that I was late and it made the restaurant look bad. I explained that it was not my fault, that I came to pick up the order immediately after accepting it. She did not say anything else and I didn’t think much of it, but now I am sure she gave me a bad rating. I see no other reason I would not have received any orders since then, I am on that street every day. At first I thought it was because it was summer and there were only a few students in town for the summer sessions, but the move in weeked for fall was Saturday and I am still not getting orders.

I called DoorDash about this tonight, and their policy is not to reveal the names of restaurants or employees that give bad reviews. I understand that, but this was very unfair and I lost several hundred dollars since then and will lose many more in the coming months. The restaurant is open until 4 am, nothing else in town except the 7-11 is open after 2 am.

What I had planned to do was to go there and ask if I could speak with the manager about this, but now I am afraid this would get me in trouble with DoorDash. I guess I’ll just have to write them and ask if it is OK, but I was wondering if anyone else has been in a similar situation.
