I bought a jar of Vlasic Kosher Dill Spears the other day and I usually get 8 or 9 good spears per jar. This jar only has 6. 
What gives? Are the damn pickle companies cutting back too?

Seriously though - from what I’ve seen on TV, whole and spear pickles are pretty much packed in jars by hand so they fit right and look good. (Robots just jumble them up randomly.) I’ll bet that if you call or email Vlasic and explain how there’s usually 8 or 9 in the jar, but this one had only six, they’ll send you some coupons for free pickles.
They’ll probably just think you’re some crazy cuke.

Probably not a jar but a coupon or two for a free one. I sent in a complaint to the Hot Pockets company when my Hot Pocket was nothing but bread (it was like the dough got doubled but no filling was in it.) They sent a coupon for a free box plus a couple of cents-off coupons.
Vlasic sucks anyway. Klausen all the way!
