I honestly don’t recall. I’m terrible with names and faces, particularly when it was a one-time thing 16 years ago. 
If I recall correctly, most of the logistics was set up on the old NADS (Not American Dopers?) board (since defunct?) by, I think, Paul/berserker (probably not the right spelling of the screen name). Most of the crawl was on the Embankment, I think, and there was a massive open air book sale in progress at the time. You have no idea the amount of self control I showed; the entire crawl could have come to a halt right then and there.
I remember that dopefest. It was in the Chandos on St. Martin’s Lane. Crusoe and (can’t remember her board name) are married with two kids now. MoMac, who was known as CurlyChick back in the day says “hi”. Some of that gang are doing a Zoom call tonight around 8:30, I can PM you the link if you like.
The good news about the new platform is that we all started over as young and slim as we want to be.
