Go Giants! They brought me out of a decades-long baseball doldrums. I used to root for the Dodgers in the 70’s and 80’s but just ran out of enthusiasm. Haven’t watched baseball since then. But something about the Giants, their style, THE FACT THAT THEY’RE GOING TO THE SERIES, brought it all back.
And no, I didn’t wait in line for tickets. Have to catch it all on TV.
I thought about making the same switch, but Ebbets Field is just a twenty minute walk from my place. To get to the Polo Grounds, I’d have to spend a nickel on the subway to Manhattan.
Nice bandwagon. Room for one more?
