I wanna see High School pictures!

This handsome stud is ol’ Swampys, Senior Class of 1972, LaGrange High School, LaGrange, GA. Ya wanted to see big hair hillbilly queen well, here ya go. Check out those sexy sideburns. WOOHOO.

Oh, poor Swampbear. I don’t think, by law, anybody was allowed to look good in the 70’s.

You sorta look like a werewolf in mid-transition. Thanks for making me feel like less of a gork!

I have to confess, this is (IMHO) the best picture ever taken of me. I’m very bitter that I am not, in fact, this good looking, as most pictures since have reminded me. Dammit. I even pluck my eyebrows now and everything.

A bit grainy, but you get the idea.

Ta-da! I’m the one on the right, of course. But if the one on the left pleases you…can’t help.

Oh yeah, almost forgot the link.

Circa 1992, that is.

Go to Max’s page, shave off the moustache and beard, and Ta-Da! - that’s what I looked like in High School.
I still wear the jacket I wore in that photo - not bad for eighteen years later.

Here’s me in my senior year of high school [granted, it was last year…but oh well]. Me!

Well, you asked for it. Since I’m still in high school, I guess I’ll just give ya the most recent picture I have - this was taken early to mid May, this year.

Wow… glad I previewed… missed a / on the last :o

If the link doesn’t work, C & P.

Done! Go ahead, close your eyes and point yer browsers at this site, you sickos.

Um, Broken Doll, I can’t get to your site. But if you can get me a picture I’ll make sure your high school years are as out in the open as the rest of us. That way we can all cry in one big group.

gawks

Ha ha! You guys!

Ruffian, you look great in that picture.

I’m still in high school. Get back to me in a couple years. Then at least I can claim that I look better than I do now without embarrassing myself. Though I’m actually not too bad when I’ve had a haircut in the last month. Unfortunately, that’s usually not the case. And whether I’ve had a haircut or not, facial hair is NOT a good look for me. And I hate shaving. Sigh.

Sorry for the poor quality…here’s a scan of my senior yearbook photo. In living color, my hair is/was nowhere near that dark, though.

Class of '94, baby!

Calliope, FairyChatMom, and Ruffian, you’re all wearing the same dress! At least Hillbilly Queen had to foresight to dye hers pink for contrast!

Where are all the sweaters? My yearbook is full of guys in sweaters, even if they never wore a sweater to school in their lives! Will that be the '90’s “bad yearbook photo” trait?

sigh I’m in love…

Dress, indeed. I believe I was in shorts, bra straps slipped off so they could wrap that velvet rag around me. Ours was a deep burgundy, tho the pics in the yearsbook were all B&W. I’m gonna have to dig out my yearbook now and wander down memory lane. I just know I’m going to see more guys that look like swampbear!!

SkipMagic, thanks for compiling the pics!

I’m gonna try to rescan that pic of me to get it in color sometime in the near future. You really need to see that coat in color to really appreciate it. It looks like a brocade Victorian parlor rug. <sigh> What was I thinking?

Oh, and even though FairyChatMom and I graduated in the same year, I am still six months and six days younger than her. :stuck_out_tongue:

SkipMagic thanks, also, for putting up the picture page.

I hope this doesn’t offend the inner rebel in you (:)), but to me it looks more like you’re an extremely pissed-off Rick Springfield. “Jesse’s girl? Well, screw her, too!”

No problem, FairyChatMom and Swampbear. Keep sending in those pics, folks, and I’ll keep putting them up. Of course, let me know what errors I hath committed in naming, etc…

What we should do is start awarding titles. For example (I’m gonna pick on you again, Superbee) Superbee could be voted “Most likely to kick your ass.”

Goddamnit! I don’t know of any free places to put my photo…does anyone have any ideas?

Nice job Skip! Like the page so far, and as soon as I find my yearbook under all those layers of dust (think the CryptKeeper opening one of his tomes), I’ll scan and post a picture.

Doll, if you send me your picture I can post it on my site, and I bet Skip could probably do the same.

Yeppers!

Actually, that pic was before Rick Springfields time…I think it was around '78. The really disgusting part, the dog collar I’m wearing, I pulled off a dead dog I’d found on the side of the road earlier that night. Still had the stench of death on it…but I’m MUCH better now…
