Aaaiiiigh! It’s been over twelve hours with no Boo! Who is Boo, you ask? She’s the Baby orphaned orca, of course! Last I heard, she was released into the great outdoors.
So? Now what? Has Boo been accepted into a new pod? Was she rejected? I need to know! All the media outlets have stupid, unimportant information like how the US economy is being sucked dry by corporate CEOs, or about that Taliban guy doing something. I used to know his name, but have forgotten it in the urge to know all things Boo!
At first when I saw this thread title, I thought it said “I want my booty,” to which I was prepared to respond: “You want your booty? Just turn around and look behind you in the mirror!” or some such. Man, these Richmond Crew[sup]TM[/sup] jokes are really messing with my head…
As for the orphaned orca, you ARE talking about A73, right? If you are, I think she’s been named Springer. They were discussing her on the radio last night. However, I remember little of the discussion. Sorry about that.

I managed to find a good resource for seeing updates on A73, the orphaned orca. For those who are also interested, it’s a web page maintained by the Vancouver Aquarium.
The latest news: A73 appears to have been “adopted” by A51, a 16-year-old orca who was, herself, an orphan. They say it’s too soon to declare it a success, but it’s pretty darn close in my mind.
