We have a new kitty.

Two years ago, we adopted a black beauty from a shelter that we named Boo. She’s very sweet. A year ago, my daughter asked us if we could keep her cat (Bennie) for a year while she traveled around the US. We agreed and Boo and Bennie became fast friends. Once Bennie was reunited with my daughter, Boo clearly missed her buddy.

Two weeks ago, we adopted a new kitty to keep Boo company. I truly believe that two cats are better and easier than one.

Without further ado, here is “Boz”, named after Oklahoma’s greatest linebacker, Brian Bosworth.

And Bennie, who I really miss. He’s such a sweet kitty.

Oh my heart, those are some sweet kitties!

Ah, Boz is adorable!

Totally agree about having more than one cat in a household. I have 6, which is a bit ridiculous, but they’re like potato chips…

What lovely kitties!

By coincidence, I too have a cat named Boo! She looks almost exactly like yours, except her eyes are orange. She was a Halloween kitten.

She’s darling! Hopefully, she’ll work out better for you than Brian Bosworth did for my beloved Seahawks.

Awww…

Oh…who’s a tough linebacker kitty??

After losing my Annie (a doberman) last week, yesterday I adopted Reese, a dog left behind to starve after his family moved away.

OMG, that poor dog. He doesn’t know now maybe, but he’s lucky you have him. I just can’t wrap my mind around how people could be so cruel.

Wow, sometimes I am just shocked and appalled by how cruel people can be.

But congrats on your new dog. May you enjoy him for many years.

Absolutely agree.
Our Missy (RIP) also looked like Boo, right down to the white patch on the chest.

Holy shit!!! :eek::eek::eek::eek:

I love people.

I hate people.

loved some kitties here .

Seriously. How could anyone have a dog that looks at least 2 or 3 years old and then just leave it to die?

Hey, that photo needs spoiler tags. You can’t just expect people to have all that adorableness thrust on them with no warning whatsoever. I almost died of cuteness overload.

(Other felines lovely too, of course. And the people who abandoned Reese, well…there are no words.)

She would sucker the password out of me!

I’m so glad Reese found a good home with someone who will appreciate him. What a CUTIE.

He’s less than a year old. Still a pup, with growing to do, if his feet are any indicator.

As a Seattle Seahawks fan, what did that kitten ever do to you to deserve a name like Boz?

Footnote: I have attended one Monday Night Football game. Oakland at Seattle. Bo Jackson embarrassed the Seahawks and Bosworth. Since then, I must speak out when I hear any references to anything named “Boz”.

As an OU graduate, I would gladly provide a link to Bosworth’s college highlight reel but I doubt that it would sway your opinion any.

His haircut, that’s what ruined his chance at greatness.

As a Seahawks fan, I could provide you with links to countless lowlight reels. I get that he was a college star, but it certainly didn’t translate to NFL success. And my gosh, his ego. I think we could be a little more forgiving if it hadn’t been for the ego.
