I want my Weather Channel, dammit!

It would seem that The Weather Channel has ceased to air from approximately 7 p.m. to 4-5 a.m. in favor of a TBN ripoff channel. Why Benny Hinn and his Deep Pockets takes precedence over coverage of potentially dangerous weather events I hesitate to guess. Has this happened to anyone else?

This would appear to be a programming decision made by your local cable company. AFAIK, The Weather Channel is a 24/7 operation.

The real pain in the rear with the Weather Channel is that whenever I try to actually find the weather outlook, they have instead mold spore reports, weather for the weekend’s ballgames or that annoying “Atmospheres” show. I’m on satellite so I don’t even get the “Local Weather on the 8’s.”

Note to Weather Channel: GIVE ME THE WEATHER FORECAST!

Of course, there’s their website, where you can always get whatever you’re looking for. For weather junkies, there’s also The Weather Underground, which has a lot of international stuff, historical records (was it raining at 1:00 pm in Beijing last Nov. 15?), and so on.

Um, Earlyout? That link took me to some search site…

He missed the letter “r” in his link. Fixed link.

The weather underground one, I mean.

Thanks, neutron star. This illustrates the dangers of typing a link instead of cutting and pasting it!
