Awesome.
Who was the clown with the burning head - I feel like I should know that character?
Quite possibly the best Ozzy Osborne/Village People mashup for bass and cello on the entire Internet.
What, better than the one for Battletanx?
NEAT! I will throw in this cello duo performing “Welcome to the Jungle”. Jaw dropping!
a nice cover of this song by Walk off the Earth and one of the best music-videos i’ve seen recently:
Somebody That I Used to Know - Walk off the Earth (Gotye - Cover)
He’s from Twisted Metal - gah, I can’t remember his name. Sweet Tooth!
The Piano Guys have a number of awesome piano/cello music videos. There’s a cool mix on a number of Star War theme, a cover of Rolling in the Deep with piano and cello, an original pop-classic theme “Michael Meets Mozart” and for the holiday seasons, “Carol of the Bells (for 12 cello)”.
Their channel rocks.

A few years back this guy traveled the world recording street performers, spliced the audio and video together, and donated the proceeds to charity. One of my all time favorites.

My all time #1 youtube video, from Ukraine’s Got Talent. Imagine a contestant on America’s Got Talent reducing the entire audience and judges panel to tears. Amazing. I’m pretty sure its about the Nazi invasion of The Ukraine. And the cello Metallica sample…simply amazing.
She has other videos too.
Mention of Gotye means I can link to this. I love the animation, which implies the song is sort of a Where the Wild Things Are, but really I think the lyrics are about dying.
Beaten by a couple of days. That is probably the best cover version of any song I have ever seen. In fact, I’d go so far as to say that it’s better than the original, which I adore.
I know a lot of people skim over YouTube links, but in the case of Mustardseed’s link above, I urge people to take the time to watch it. It’s breathtakingly clever.
Oh Jesus, I’m now a snivelling wreck. That should have a warning label on it.
Did some investigation and Gotye’s song is about the death of his dog, Bronte.
Warning: Gateway videos! I can’t stop watching these.
Dancing!
70’s Fashion!
Funky ass music!
Sometimes all in the same video!
It’s SOUUUUUL Train!
Let me know when that time machine is ready, I need to get me some new threads.
I uploaded a video of my perspective for the 2012 new year fireworks on the Las Vegas Strip.
I had a, erm…unique vantage point.
John Carpenter’s The Thing re-enacted by Pingu. Fucking hilarious.
Goodness, where were you? The Stratosphere?
I’m not getting this at all. Some context, please?
