More human trafficking happens for purposes of indentured servitude labor than for the sex trade. But the former does not get as many eyeballs on websites or as much in donations. Because, sex.
Ha! You can’t support a heroin addiction on a minimum wage job. Especially when you’re getting high all day.
And Grrr, please tell me, where do you find all these well-adjusted, drug-free happy college age providers?
There are websites that act as a go-between the clients and the providers. For a fee, they do a background check on you, and verify your employment. On the other side, they verify the providers age, and check their references. References are basically, previous clients who are also members of said website. They give a thumbs up, and the provider gets what’s called “verified” status.
The website also has a message board much like this one. Clients can go on there and discuss their experiences with the various providers. Providers can also join in to discuss their experiences with the clients. They also have an “Alert” forum that allows providers to alert other providers which potential clients to stay away from.
Like I said, 90% are college girls trying to pay their tuition. There are some career providers on there, but not many.
And how do you go about “verifying” that these girls don’t do drugs, are in college, etc? See, these girls have every incentive to keep their ‘dark secrets’ from their johns or customers, if you will. If their custos think they are dirty drug addicts, they will not use their services. It’s amazing how willfully ignorant some of these guys can be. Oh, they will prostitute themselves and engage in unprotected sex acts with strangers but drugs?! Good lord, no. These are wholesome, happy girls. Give me a fucking break.
The ONLY times I would say that a prostitute isn’t feeding a habit is when she’s on the high end of the market, 400/hr and up. This gives the escort much more control over who she sees and allows her discretion that the cheaper girls lack. These are the types who call themselves “courtesans” and are/were on websites like Eros when that site was in business.
I’m surprised a board that leans toward being sexually open (I recall many threads about swinging, kinky games, nudist colonies, etc) is being so condescending and snarky toward the OP. Yes, he cheated on his wife, and maybe that’s what’s triggering everybody, but the conversation is about apples and you’re trying to shoehorn oranges into the bag, too.
Obviously things like sex trafficking, underage prostitution, etc. are horrible and should be prosecuted, but anyone else over 18 can do whatever they want, so what the fuck do you care?
I do believe the thread title is ‘ask me anything’. I didn’t realize “anything” had to follow a specific pathway. Ignorance fought!
Did you miss where he invited everyone to literally, “Ask him anything?”
You think his tender feelings will be injured by these impertinent questions?
That he couldn’t have known he’d face judgmental attitudes? About frequenting prostitutes while married?
That’s hard for me to imagine, to be honest.
It wasn’t always a sure thing. Many girls were unreliable.
The chase being:
-
Reviewing on line ads and finding a girl that was my type. I have a weakness for petite girls. Under 120 lbs.
-
Researching reviews of girls on websites. Sometimes would find a review of a girl and if she got great reviews for oral I would contact her even if not my type. But not if she was heavy set and I only saw white girls.
-
Texting girls. I used a google text app and could text them from my desk at work. Many girls were hit or miss but some were very responsive.
-
Then driving to her “incall” usually a hotel room she rented for the day or maybe her apartment. I would be nervous that this could be the time it was a set up - police or robbery
-
Then when she opened door, usually my draw dropped how hot this girls were and I was going to sex them.
This whole process was a rush and addictive
Do you like being the ‘bad’ boy? That’s a fetish I hear.
Your sarcasm and psychobabble says less about the OP than it does about you.
Of course not, and it has nothing to do with his tender feelings. I just said I’m surprised there’s been such a backlash. I don’t read the same tone of pride in doing something wrong that I read in Shagnasty’s posts, for example. It seems like he’s just laying out the facts. And, like it or not, these things do happen.
Good question - I would estimate $3,000-$4000 over 5/6 years. My average visit was maybe $100.
They’re probably busy cramming for midterms.
<ducks and runs>
Yes there are websites providers are on. Providers and hobbyists in same city discussing the hobby, police stings, bad hobbyists, etc. There were many providers who took their “job” seriously and wanted to provide good service because she could get good reviews and make great money.
I would say the demographics of the girls I saw were as follows:
10% had obvious drug issue, were high or mentioned drugs
25% career escorts who took their job seriously. Had to go thru screenings to see her.
The rest were girls in their 20s who needed money for whatever reason. These were nice everyday girls you could have a thoughtful conversation with. I had one girl around 20 tell me I can make $100 in 30 minutes or I can work at McDonalds for $5/hr. She was a beautiful sweet girl but I could tell she had rough upbringing.
Well, I’m pretty street smart. I grew up in an environment where I was no stranger to addicts. I know what they look like, and I know how they behave and carry themselves. The idea that an addict could “fool” me into thinking they are college students working on their graduate degree, I find laughable.
Also, you get to know some of these girls by hanging out on the MBs. Listening to them talk about things like FOSTA and it’s impact on their trade, it’s easy to conclude they are not brain addled addicts.
Post edit: Also, addicts aren’t likely to go through the trouble of getting verified on these websites. They tend to gravitate towards Backpage where there is no verification process.
Or they couldn’t get someone to watch their children. I suspect that many women who go into sex work aren’t so much pushed into the biz by men who are there as they are by men who aren’t. If babydaddy bails on child support, a gig where one can gross $1,000+ a week with minimal tax liability looks pretty good.
I read a story earlier this year about an adjunct professor who did sex work in between terms. I’ll see if I can find it. I remember her quote: “I’d had one night stands, so I wondered ‘How bad can it be?’ And it really wasn’t that bad.”
Speaking of FOSTA’s impact on sex work, how are the remaining sites surviving? Does FOSTA have any effect on sites hosted outside the US?
This might be the best comment/signature combo I’ve ever seen.
