I will fly you (and you ALONE) to anywhere in the US. A few rules, however...

I got a wedding to go to in New Orleans later this year. Not that tickets are super-expensive from here, but I could spend the extra money on fun shit.

I would go to DC too. All those museums and monuments. I am in Key West daily.

Do you mean the going to the Jersey Shore? I ask as Oceanside is in NY on the south shore of Long Island?

I’m going to Cape May in July. Best part of the shore in my opinion.
I would probably return to Hawaii, I only got 1 day and 2 evening when I was there in the Navy and it was amazing. Stinks I would be on my own though and without my family.

Chicago. I can visit family and go see a Cubs game!

Anyplace I can spend three days watching baseball. Minor league ok. I almost always travel alone so if I’ve got some place to stay and get to take my camera, I can find something to do anywhere.

You got the hotel, right?

Kansas City, I’ll watch a whole series in Kauffman Stadium.

Jackson Hole, WY - A few days of hiking (or skiing in winter), visiting friends, and eating well.

I’m torn. Normally, I’d go visit my family members who live in the Houston area. But I just visited them a few weeks ago. So I’m tempted to take the opportunity to visit the west coast, a place I’ve never been to.

On the gripping hand, it’s not the cost of airline tickets that’s keeping me at home. Things like a hotel and a rental car along with the cost of doing things in my destination city would cost me more than the tickets. So I might just end up thanking Idle Thoughts for the offer and then declining it.

I know, boring response.

Glacier National Park, second week of August.

I thought of both Hawaii and Alaska, but my wife would kill me if I went to either of them without her. But with three days in Glacier, I could do at least one of the serious hikes that I haven’t done but want to. The one I particularly have in mind starts off with the Highline Trail from Sun Road to the Granite Park Chalet, then over the Divide and down to Swiftcurrent Lodge on the east side of the park.

Also, I’d get to eat pizza at Truby’s at least twice.

I’d do Alaska since my wife would never want to go. I’d have to research the exact location I want to visit. Maybe I can find a flight heading east and have a few extended layovers in Europe and Asia along the way

Washington DC, I can never seem to line up flight deals with hotel deals

Walt Disney World.

or Hawaii.

I am going to pick a non-commercial airport so I’ll get a ride on a nice business jet.

Washington, DC. I wanna see a Nats series.

Las Vegas. I’ve never been there, but I greatly enjoy over the top tacky sites.

As to when – I’d check to see when Penn & Teller’s show is live.

I’m a little sad about only 3 days but I guess I’d have to go with Hawaii. I’d choose either Maui (because I haven’t been) or Kauai (because it was my favorite island)

I want to go the Fairbanks, Alaska on the first day of summer, the longest day of the year. My friend told me about the midnight softball game at the airbase, played on a field that has no light, because none are needed.

Yeah, right. I’m still waiting for my dollar from the eight month long “30 day” song challenge.

Because if I could fly from anywhere in the world to a US city–why, then, make it “Any city to US city” only? Why not “Any city to any city, worldwide”?
Any city to the US just seems…unbalanced.

US city to US city is equal. It’s both the same. All is at peace in the world. All is unified. It’s a palindrome. US to US…ahhh…feel that inner peace?

World to US city…doesn’t have the same effect. And I have a touch of OCD. Therefore…US to US.

I vote for unfair since I am in Canada. Thanks for nothing IT :frowning:
