I’ve had a lowgrade fever for 3 days.
I think I inhaled a feather and it’s staying in my throat to tickle me.
My voice is disappearing.
I managed to go a whole summer without getting sick, and now, with school starting in a week, a cold hits me like a 2-by-4 to the back of the head. And I can’t call in sick to work next week because everyone else is on vacation and we’re already very shortstaffed. 
I think I’ll go back to bed now.
