Icing down the MMP

And just for the heck of it, first on page three!

Nope, still halfway down page 1, silly bear.

well, the cold sari had has moved through the house … I think nephew had it but since I caught it is my fault …I’m the bringer of all plagues ever …but I’m over it and aunt who lost her voice is in the waning stages…

other than that same bs different week…just add in the "we’ve got no thousands to blow on Xmas this year blues, (note except for 5 maybe 6 years we’ve never had enough money for Xmas according to some)

hope everyone who isn’t well gets better and I hope I make it to Jan 15th without being a victim of or committing a murder…

What happens on Jan 15 Shady?

Blurf. What a day. TGIF for tomorrow. Tahred. Aggravated. Done. Over it. Finished. Complete. Up way too late but soon to call it a day.

Buddy has a car seat (was HRH Louie’s) that has a seatbelt of sorts. I also found him a travel soft side kennel bag that can be buckled in. He hasn’t used it yet. I am going to start taking him to irk every once in a while and if they don’t like it well Fuk ‘em.

Catch you all mañana

Evening all. Soccer has been practiced (10-11 year old boys can drive you crazy) and dinner provided by Subway (I stopped going there for awhile but their sammiches arebeginning to grow on me again…).

Everybody is waiting to see if the soccer games this weekend get rained out or not.

Nut, the book will show up either when you have given up all hope or the end of the Universe…take your pick.

Red, hope things work out for your friend in his new job. And yea for Nelson.

flyboy, hope the job thing works out. Sounds like failure to communicate to me.

All y’all take care. Bedtime now.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 68 Amurrkin out and cloudy with a predicted high of 85 with rain/tstorms/apocalypse predicted this afternoon, tonight, and tomorrow. We shall see. Got a work day (mornin’ really) planned over to the church house tomorrow to spruce up the outside in advance of the Bishop’s visit a week from this Sunday and cause ‘tis Fall and time to do so. Looks like it may or may not happen. This mornin’ I shall betake myself there to do some usual [del]church janitor[/del] Junior Warden duties. Sup shall be boxed lasagna (don’t judge!), sallit, and cheesey garlic bread.

flyboy hope the irk situation works itself out soonest. I have a feelin’ the boss will come around.

MetalMouse so you’re sayin’ the arrival of nuts book will be a sign of the apocalypse?

shades do try to make it through without killin’ anyone. Although, a really good, gruesome killin’ spree would add to the joy of the upcomin’ holiday season.

Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy is complainin’ about bein’ hongry. Then, bother, alas, and alack, I must purtify and don appropriate bein’ about the public attire.

Happy Firday Y’all!

FCD worked till after midnight, so I was up till he came back. I wish he could learn to take time for himself…

Today, I plan to take Roxy to get shoes. She’s outgrown size 4 so fast! I also ordered yarn from Michael’s and I hope to pick it up while we’re out. Then we will go have lunch at Daughter’s school - unless she needs a nap.

Meanwhile, I’m being a slug till the household wakes up. Happy Firday!!

A good religious person like you should know, swampy, that everything is a sign of the apocalypse…:eek::wink:
Morning all. The predicted rain should arrive shortly and continue all day. Soccer for Saturday looks very problematic. So another good day for finding jobs around the house that I can ignore for awhile longer.

Cool! I was expecting one of the others.

OK – it wasn’t a good game but it was a win for the right (Lutheran) team. And a good excuse to consume potato sticks and rye. So I’m quite happy this AM.

Just put Roxy down for an early nap. We’re meeting Daughter for lunch at noon, so she can sleep a bit over an hour. Meanwhile, I need to pack her lunch. Probably PB&J because I don’t want to mess with heating anything up.

Taz puked on my recliner overnight. I’m starting to worry about him. One of our other cats years ago began puking a lot, then he suddenly died… Guess I should get him to the vet, even tho he acts normal otherwise.

My hubby has been very puny of late. When he had a regular Dr. appt this week with the scratch and dent Dr. they found his blood pressure was 90/50 . No wonder he felt bad. He was ordered to only take half of the BP medication as prescribed so he skipped it entirely one day and then took half. He is almost back to his normal workaholic self. We have a BP machine so will keep an eye on it.

Blurfage. Tis Firday thank goodness. Been a loooonnnnngggggggggg week.

Payroll week so that is done. Looks like I was the only one so far to sign off . I may have some vendor invoices to pay, gotta check otherwise I am just here. It all pays the same, it all pays the same, it all pays the same.

Whew - Butters, I’m glad you posted about payroll. I forgot to do my timesheet yesterday and it’s due by noon today! So it’s done.

Now, to pack lunch. Or we could drive thru McD’s… hmmmmm

Happy Firday!

Oh what a day it has been.

Got woke up too early, hearing doors opening and closing and no dogs.
Sah-son was up half the night throwing up. He didn’t wake me up on purpose, but he was dealing with the dogs, the cat, and running to the bathroom.
My stomach wasn’t feeling so good yesterday either, but so far I am okay.
I felt bad for making him load up stuff in the truck, but I had two big totes and one trash bag full of crafty things I gave to a woman at the park. Somebody had given me a ton of stuff, and I will never use all of it, so I passed it on, along with some stuff I had that I no longer want. I kind of feel bad dumping so much on her, but she can figure out what she wants and doesn’t want and pass it on or toss it.
Then we got to the park and the gates were locked. The same woman has their number in her phone, so we got somebody out to let us in.
I thought I lost my phone, but I found on the floor of my truck where I had dropped it getting out.
Then Ripple got a nasty cut by his eye playing with Echo.
Stopped at taco hell on the way home to get some orange juice for my son. I didn’t buy him anything to eat, I figure he doesn’t need it.

Now everybody is sleeping, but me, as I am irking.
My tummy is still feeling a bit queasy, but I’m sure I’ll be okay.

My son has a shit load of school irk due today, as well as an exam.
I suppose I should get him up soon so he can get started on it.
I’m just enjoying the silence.

I probably should look into car seats for the pups.

Well sometimes our pointless ramblings are useful.

Lunch time and I want you all to know that warmed over 5 guys fries suck mightily. Just say no. Now I gotta find something else to eat. I may have to run out to get something.

feel better soon Sari and son

I hope not, 'cos I just got it. Though… looks at world eh… maybe.

Admittedly, I didn’t get it delivered, I walked round to the delivery person’s house (having messaged them earlier to ask if I could, rather than them try again to deliver while I was out).
The house, incidentally, at which the book was until it was taken on a 50 mile round trip yesterday, is around 25 meters from my house, directly on the other side of the road. It made it all the way from New Delhi in 3 days (at least once posted), then took 5 days to make it the final 25 meters. Though it is blowing a gale and raining sideways, and I had to walk the long way round 'cos someone changed the lock on the side gate, and I forgot the new combo.

The book’s on potato genetics, if anyone was wondering.

Get well soon Sari 'n Son!

Howdy Y’all! Took care of church duties, ran some errands, and had Booger King for N.O.L. cause I was out and about and it was there. ‘Tis cloudy out, 84 Amurrkin, and feels like it should be stormin’. The radar map shows stuff to the west headed here, so who knows.

Nuts a book on N.O.T. genes? Are you makin’ FrankenN.O.T.? That brings to mind this UL. That’s what we call KFC now.

We had playtime at the playground, then daughter came over and we lunched together. Next stop was Michael’s where I picked up nine 14 oz skeins of yarn ad $4 each. SCORE!! Last stop was WalMart where Roxy got 2 pairs of shoes and a pair of jammies, and I got some apples and bananas.

She fell asleep in the car on the way home and just now woke from a 2 hour nap.

Supper will be steak, instant smashed N.O.T., 'shrooms-n-onions, and either broccoli or cauliflower. Daughter and SIL are going out after supper, so I’ll be putting Roxy to bed tonight. That’s my exciting Firday.

Either my beer belly is getting smaller, or I’m just getting used to seeing it.

I started breaking down boxes for recycling the other day. Once they’re gone, I can start thinking about selling stuff that was under them. :stuck_out_tongue: One box, about 18" by 18" by four feet was full of packing peanuts. I filled three 13-gallon kitchen-sized trash bags with them. I dreaded throwing them in the trash. First, it’s such a waste! Second, who needs more styrofoam in the landfill? Third, we only have trash picked up every other week and it would take at least two pickups to get rid of them (or pay an extra fee for ‘excess trash’). Then I had an inspiration. I’d post the peanuts on the NextDoor network. Success! A woman needed them. I just got back from taking them to her.

Who knew cats like acorn squash?
