ID These Two Songs

Heard both of these songs on the radio today, and one should be simple and the other provide a challenge.

  1. I’m certain it’s one of the new Nirvana songs, but it isn’t “You Know You’re Right.” Making them happy is a recurring theme.

  2. Sounds like an '80s song. Rock. The singer had a semi-monotonous voice, and no chorus that stood out (I turned it on halfway through, though). One lyric states that, “nothing changes.” In the background there’s a subtle but catchy keyboard (?) riff. Any help?

The first one might be Nirvana’s “Sappy”

…although, if it was on the radio, it’s probably the second one. They’re basically the same lyrics, just changed up a bit.
