I am a vintage golf cart enthusiast and came across this photo. Any idea what movie it is from?
Hmm, I can’t get it to go directly to the photo, but it is the one in the upper left where they are driving in a strange forest.

I assume you mean the one where they’re in the golf cart. My first though was the Road To Hong Kong because of the general surrealism and a somewhat modern looking for their time golf cart but the scene doesn’t ring a bell. There’s a million images of Hope and Crosby together, might take some time to find that one with a reference.
This link goes directly to that image. There’s a contact link on the page you could use to just ask them.
I couldn’t find another photo of that exact golf cart. But I will say that I think this is from something other than one of their Road movies. The last one of those was in 1962, and they both look older here than they would have at that time.
My best guess is that this is from some TV show skit in the later 60’s or early 70’s.
The trivia description of a 1966 episode of the Bob Hope Show sounds interesting.
The cart is a first generation golf cart, early 1950s. Actually, with the headlight and turn signals, this is a “city shopper” version. I can’t place it. It looks mostly like a Marketeer, which was the first golf cart and all the name golfers had one. But the Marketeer came up higher in front and was a bit more rounded. It could well be a customized version for the movie.

I bet that’s it. They do appear to be wearing surgical gowns. Wonder if it is online somewhere?

FWIW, the patient they are inserted into is Jackie Gleason but he doesn’t actually appear. (Outside of the inside of his stomach.)
This has such a nice ring to it!
