This was a cartoon shown in the early to mid nineties, I believe it was the same animation style as Garfield and it was based on a farm and the main character was this cow walking upright and he always wore red dungarees and looked directly at the “camera” and he would speak. There were various other animals like a camel and a kangaroo…? And in one episode he got a mug and poured himself some milk from the camel.
Ha! Reading that back it looks funny, but searching for “cow in red dungarees cartoon” on Google isn’t helping much.
Ah thanks but that wasn’t it, it was seperate from Garfield probably, but I was a child when it was on so my memory is hazy. The cow/bull had a southern american accent and a yellow capital letter on the middle of his dungarees.
I think I remember it, too. U.S. Acres didn’t ring a bell for me, but when I looked at the Wikipedia Page and noticed it was called Orson’s Farm outside the states, all came clear.
It definitely sounds like Ollie the Ox and Oxtales - and thanks, Saitou, for the link to some clips; I’ve been half-heartedly looking for a video or dvd for ages!
