I’m trying to track down the name of a show I still see on educational TV from time to time (but never when they run the credits!). It appears to have been made about 15 years ago. The setting is a corner cafe in some urban setting. The owner is a Russian emigre, and his staff are all multi-cultural–Israeli handiman, Hispanic cashier, Korean delivery boy, African-American customer and WASP waitress (maybe there was an Eskimo chef, but I missed that episode). As you can probably tell, the theme of this show was too teach racial tolerance, though they also seemed to do some instruction on math and how to run your own business (a full agenda).
Anybody else know of this well-meaning but low-budget program?
