Years ago I watched a late night movie, coming into it about halfway through.
The premise was two criminals somehow managed to get themselves locked in a building over a weekend, so they could rob the place and leave before Monday.
However, they ended up trying to kill each other, running around inside the building all weekend.
On Monday morning, they changed into civilian clothes and simply blended in with returning workers.
I thought Charles Bronson was in this, but I’m afraid I’m wrong, as his bio doesn’t show anything that looks like this film.
There’s a movie called Trapped starring James Brolin as a man who gets locked inside a department store. However, IIRC, his antagonist is a pack of vicious Doberman guard dogs, not a fellow human. I mention it on the off chance it might be what you’re looking for.
Thanks Tante, not dogs! But that sounds kind of cool.
Farewell Friend does sound like the OP description, sideshowkar but for some reason it doesn’t look at all like I remember. I’ve checked this one before. Youtube has it, but what I looked today at was not resonating.
Only half sounds like you describe, but could you be conflating How To Steal A Million (Peter O’Toole, Audrey Hepburn) with a Charles Bronson action flick (dozing in front of the tube late at night will do that). In HTSAM O’Toole and Hepburn lock themselves in a museum to steal back a forgery Hepburn’s father sold to them (if my memory of the plot is right). It was colorized though, and not much trying to kill each other in it.
Not the movie the OP described but there’s also Career Opportunities. If you’re going to get locked inside a building with someone after hours, Jennifer Connelly is the way to go.
