About six months ago, I was driving home at about four in the morning, listening to the oldies station in Pittsburgh. A song came on that I’d heard before, but for the life of me I can’t remember who the hell performed it. It’s a song lots of people know, but I’ll be damned if I’ve found anyone who knows what it’s called or who performed it. Here’s a sample lyric:
and I love him I love him I love him
and even more I’ll follow I’ll follow I’ll follow
that’s the chorus. The verse is something about the guy being the singer’s destiny. Friends, this song has been stuck in my head for half a year and the only way to get it unstuck is to hear it the whole way through. Please, someone tell me who wrote it and save me from the insanity.
