I guess I hang out in the same places, MPSIMS and Cafe Society and IMHO. GD and the Pit intimidate the hell out of me.
I don’t really know the mods in the other categories. Just what can you tell me about Gaudere or John Corrado??? Are they fair, generous and kind to small children and animals? Do they take the time to acknowledge brilliant posts, bits of humor, or mundane and pointless stuff?

Well, I can’t really talk about John as I don’t know him well enough. However, I have heard good things:)
Gaudere on the other hand, I feel I know fairly well. We both live on the northside of Chicago and we hang out a bit. She is very cool, one of the smartest people I know, and she likes Guinness - what more could you possibly want? As for her board credentials, just do a search and see how well she manages to keep things in control in GD which can be a fractious forum at the best of times. You can count on a neutral, unbiased opinion from her even when she is involved in the heat of a debate (something I doubt I could do:))
In short, they both rock.

And don’t forget, Gaudere has what might be the most famous and frequently referenced name on the Board, second only to Cecil Adams, if he counts as a poster (as opposed to a mythic figure of some sort).
As for MHO, I don’t think I’ve ever personally interacted with either of them, but I’ve seen plenty of their work and they’ve both shown themselves to be good mods and good people many times over.
