Got a mystery port that I’m trying to find an adapter for. Hopefully, it’s just some weird new video standard that I’ve never heard of.
It’s 15 pins wide (call 'em 1-15) by 4 pins high (A-D). There’s no hole in at position A3.
Looks something like this:
oo oooooooooooo
ooooooooooooooo
ooooooooooooooo
ooooooooooooooo
Can you tell us what kind of equipment it’s on?
Gah… I mean to add that it’s about the same size as a regular DVI port.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Sorry; a new Dell Precision 670 that somebody shipped us, in one of the PCI/AGP slots.
My boss won’t allow me to crack the case until we get approval from the client.
One of these, right?
It’s a DMS-59 connector used to connect two monitors. Here is a splitter cable that breaks it out to two separate DVI connectors.
DING!
Is it going to matter whether the splitter goes to VGA or DVI?
