Identifying with "Sith" instead of "Jedi"

So, the story went around that if people wrote “Jedi” on census forms, the government would recognize it as an official religion. This, of course, has since been proven to be false.

But, were there or are there anyone who would identify more with “Sith”?

[eerie voice] I am not the Sith you are seeking. [/eerie voice]

Y’know I read about a group of people who have formed a commune somewhere and actually call themselve Jedi (I would join, but you don’t get cool force powers, or lightsabers, so why bother). They even have a webpage.

How much fun would it be to set up a "Sith" commune next door to them :D

Oooooooooooooooh! Fun! I like that idea.

You could organize sith-ins. Or tell people to “sith on my thumb and rotate”.

Or not.

You sure about the commune part? I didn’t see anything on that website about a commune. It looked to me like a webite someone just through together, possibly as a joke…?

(Not that I’m looking to join mind you.)

The problem is there can ever only be two Sith, one master, one student.

Pretty small for a commune.

Us Sith like to keep secret so would never give away the fact of our existence.

enter, stage right, wearing a Sith Academy shirt

waves hand “These are not the Sith you’re looking for.”

exeunt stage left, wandering

You people are full of Sith.

No Sith.

It may not be this bunch with the commune, or they may simply have taken the information off of the page. I know that I saw a page that had pictures of the leading “Jedi Knights” and mentioned some sort of commune. This site looks like the one I remember.

Is this a joke? Gosh I hope so. People have been serious about goofier things though.

Yeah, like learning how to speak made up languages on Star Trek ;).

This is not an anagram.

I am opposed to Sith communes but I would not object to Sithal Unions.

Sith ith tho.

I was actually a member of a message board community called the Temple of the Sith for a while. Great fun, actually, we were in character all the way in our posts and in the chat room. I’m pretty sure it was started by a high-school kid, but the posts were all pretty literate.

The group died a natural death within a few months, but not before I led a successful attack on Ord Aidell and captured its shipyard, with manufacturing facilities and several newly-built ships completely intact. I managed to do this even though in mid attack, one of my younger cohorts went insane and tried to kill me on the bridge of my own ship. I turned him over to the leader of the group for, er, treatment.

BTW, I went by the moniker Darth Callista. I made it a point to let my fellow Sith know that if anyone killed Luke Skywalker before I had a chance to tell him to his face that he was lousy in the sack, I would be most displeased.
