I hate the way they do the performance finales. We get two reruns, two, count 'em two performances of the same piece of garbage coronation song drivel and then two boring choices by an old fart who thinks “Unchained Melody” is current and cutting edge. They should try to RAISE the bar, not lower it.
It looks like Kris won the coin toss, huh.
Kris has a simian look to his face already, and those expressions he makes just make him look hideous.
I really don’t like these song choices. I do like Adam’s second song though.

I didn’t think the Sam Cook song would work. But damn, it worked.
Adam blew the doors off on that Sam Cooke song. He started kind of slow but really ended up working it. That kid can sing his ass off.
Man, Adam’s young Elvis faces he gets works for me. I wish I was a gay man. That was freaking awesome.

Kris doing Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Goin’ On?” in that Doobie Brothers style that he has.
He sounds like he doesn’t really get the song. He doesn’t sound bad, but not particularly exciting or interesting either. Adam really won that round. Kris at least made the first round a wash. It’s going to come down to who can do the best job polishing Kara’s coronation turd.
Kara’s song is tuneless, hackneyed dreck. Big surprise. I guess Adam is doing the best he possibly can with it, but it’s almost impossible to make this crap listenable.
Simon saying “I’m not going to judge that song,” is his way of saying it’s crap, but he doesn’t want to say it front of Kara.
Both of these guys are good.
I’ve seen a pre-Idol version of Adam doing the Sam Cooke song on Youtube. Hardly seems fair.
I feel embarassed for them when they have to sing the coronation song, such drek. Liked that Simon wouldn’t judge the song. Everyone knows what he wants to say. Kara, you are a shit judge, and that was a real shit song.
Hahah, I can’t believe he actually said that. I switched over to the NBA lottery draft show and missed it. Maybe this can get them to get rid of her for next year. She was dead weight, IMO. I really only care about Randy and Simon’s opinion anyway.

Oh my word. I don’t think I hated the song just because I’m unfamiliar with it. It really was crap, wasn’t it? Please tell me that song won’t grow on me.
Kris is just walking through this song. This is really lackluster for him. I can totally understand that he probably hates the song and doesn’t care, but Adam won the turd polishing contest.
I am all about Adam, but that was pretty dick of the judges. Although, I guess they are only that, just judges. Corny Kris sounded better with the corny song, I guess.
I don’t have anything against Kris, and I think he’d probably be fun to grab an accoustic guitar and jam with, but I think Adam deserves to win this. I hope the fundies don’t rob him.
Adam is my choice, but both of them are good. IMO, Kris was the better turd-polisher.
