IE Windows load up half-size. Why? How do I fix it?

Quick computer question. I visited a website which had pop-ups that are half-screen size. Ever since, when I click on an internet link (like the e-mail button on MSN Messenger), the window comes up half-size.

I’ve played around in settings and such and I’ve found no way to fix this, though I can be a bit of an idiot sometimes, so it’s probable that the solution is right under my nose and I haven’t figured it out yet.

Why is this happening, and how can I fix it?

Open IE, resize it to the desired size. Close it. The next time you open IE, it should be the desired size.

Open one and only one IE window. Be sure all other instances are closed. Draq (do NOT click the Maximize button) the window edges to the size you want–the easiest way is to position the window with its top left corner at the top left corner of the screen and drag the lower left corner of the window until it’s the size you want. Then, close the IE window. Now, when you relaunch IE, it should open to the size you just set it to.
