We only have the very biased account of the mother and that video of the interview which honestly does not help her cause at all to go on here. I am not ready to condemn the flight attendant on the word of the mother.

Have any one you seen the commercial(I don’t know the airline) with a business woman sitting between two drunken frat guys? They’re as obnoxious as holy hell, screaming things like : “Haaaaaahoooooo yeah baby, that chick was hot”. Woooooooooo yeah, we gots to get some of that". “Yeah, we going on a safari now babayyyyyyyyyyyyyy!”

None of that was verbatim, because the commercial causes me to change the channel straightaway, but that’s not the point. If I had choice between these fuckers and a little toddler babbling well, toddie wins every time. Seriously. People, get a grip,(should be grown up)adults can be way more annoying than a small child. “Bye bye plane” over and over from a baby is not annoying to me. Shit about your dating life (or lack of it) loudly, is quite ridiculous and you need to shut up.

No. I would fully expect the pilot to take the unsubstantiated word of any of his crew, as they are trained to do like any other team trained to handle emergencies together.

I think the attendant (wrongly, it seems) took the upset passenger’s side and encountering opposition from the mother the attendant escalated rather than backing down.

What upset passenger? I think it was the flight attendant that was upset, did I miss something from the article?

Wow. No KIDDING! What the video showed was a somewhat fussy baby. No “drowning out” of part of the interview took place. As to the “rolling the shuttle off of the table”, well DUH, he’s 19 months old, his motor skills aren’t that great and then it got away from him. It’s not as if he purposely threw it across the table or something. He wasn’t “rifling through” the scripts, he was trying to get over the table to get the shuttle back. As annoying as I find the children of parents who won’t properly parent, from what I could see, this was NOT the case here. This is a baby, not an older child that should know better or something.

They did the right thing by taking him off camera back to dad in the Green Room and not a peep more was heard from him. From what I understand from the original article, several other passengers back up the mom’s story. And she sounded truthful to me. I can well imagine the flight attendant going all “My plane” and Pwecious Pwincess on her because her dubious “authority” in suggesting the baby benydryl was haughtily (and rightly so) dismissed.

I hope the little snot gets fired and possibly sued, though IANAL and I’m not sure what the case would be.

Has the stewardess committed any crime? She said, apparently falsely, that the passenger threatened her. The passenger could easily have gotten arrested based on the stewardess’ claims. It seems that the stewardess has slandered the passenger, if not committed criminal conspiracy by trying to frame her for threatening a flight.
