If I told you I "Flipped a bitch" would you know what I was talking about?

At my age, you’da thunk I’d heard everything. Thanks for proving me wrong.

Of course I know that one (hey, where’s the poll?) - U turn, preferably a fast one with tires squealing!Central NY in the 80’s.

Purchased a bitch, invested a minimal amount of effort into mostly cosmetic changes, maybe a Brazilian wax, then resold at a much higher price is what I was thinking too.

Enjoy,
Steven

Flipped a bitch makes me think you bodyslammed some girl. Here (upstate NY) we say, “bust a Yooey”.

This. I was thinking vaguely this kind of thing in my head, and was reaching for it to crystallize into words, and you nailed it

A close second would be wondering if it was an alteration of “flipping the (a) bird” for the one-finger salute.

“Hang a U-ie” would be the typical slang of my youth (with possibly more creative verbs than “hang”, or with adverbs/adjectives added). Never heard about flipping U-turns, though, never mind calling them “bitches” for some reason.

Never heard of that slang term. I would have thought it meant you dumped that girl or something like that.

Never heard the term.
I would have guessed it referred to a sexual act of some sort (and my imagination went to a few places about which I won’t go into further detail here).

Raised in the Chicago area where we “Bang a U-ey.”

I grew up in Souther California and I knew it meant a U-turn in fact I can’t think of the last time I said U-turn I live in colorado now and there has never been any confusion when I’ve told someone to flip a bitch.

Virginia, never heard of it. I would have thought it meant going from missionary to doggy style.

“Bang”? Huh. Never heard that one around here, but it is a city of neighborhoods, and your neighborhood may have had different slang than mine. Looking online, that seems to be a Boston expression.

I’ve heard t, but not from a grown woman. It means “hung a U-ooey.”

I grew up in the suburbs of Los Angeles, and in high school (during the '80s) I had a wannabe-gangster friend who used that phrase. I only remember it being used to describe a police car making a u-turn to bust someone.

I know it and use it occasionally. Learned it in So Cal sometime in the 80s.

I heard that it was “whip a tit.”

I flipped a bitch once after I dropped my kids off at the pool.

I always say “hang a u-ie” No idea why!

I know it, and grew up in Chicago but have lived in CA for 15 years. Not sure when I first heard it, but I suspect during my time out here.

I would assume you either made a rude gesture to someone else in traffic, or you just sold a house for much more than you paid for it.

Hmm. Sure it wasn’t ‘fingerbang a clit’? I think I hear people saying that before they make a u-turn.

To me it means you just shot a bird at an asshole.
