This is what I guessed it to mean. I’d just assume the word “off” had been dropped off.

Growing up in Southern California, I remember using this phrase back in the eighties.

“Dude, you missed the turn. Flip a bitch; the turn will be on the left.”

Yes, this. I don’t know if I stopped using it because I grew up, or because the phrase fell out of fashion.

I’ve heard the phrase but never used it myself.

Here in NE Wisconsin it’s either “pull a u-ey” or “whip a shitty”. I think someone else mentioned previously that “whip a shitty” also describes the act of doing donuts in the wintertime.
