it would come out like this.
Wow, not only is it full of hateful crap, but the design just sucks. Nothing stays on the screen long enough to read it. And you don’t know when it’s time to go to the next page.
But I really would love to see a Jack Chick flash. Maybe done in the style of the old Marvel Super Heroes cartoons of the 60’s.
And I’m a Christian…but I have NO idea what the heck this weirdo is trying to say, or who half of these people are. Is it some kind of joke?
Considering that the cross is prominently labelled as a torture device and that one of the guys in Hell is talking about how he read the KJV (that’s the King James Version of the bible, the translation favored by most English-speaking Fundies), I’m working under the assumption that this is meant to be anti-Christian in general.
I think I’m going to have to add “<holy laughter>” into my day-to-day verbiage.
Hmmm…I wonder what it sounds like, especially in comparison to “HAW HAW HAW!”
Jerry Falwell: He loves the Twinkie, but hates the Tinky.
I vote that this is a joke. The graphics are too goofy and the music’s too rockin’.
Well, clearly nobody here has witnessed the horror that is Apocamon .
I’d probably be offended, if I weren’t too busy laughing my ass off.
I don’t think so. His bio on that site seems serious:
http://www.iconbusters.com/iconbusters/day/r_tes.htm
and he has written “Antichrist in our Midst”, as mentioned in his bio. And, if you look in his catalog, he offers other things he’s written, including a defense of the Paulicans, and translations of early Protestant anti-catholic writings.
Calling the crucifix “a torture device” was, as far as I can tell, pretty common among the early Protestants, who used to accuse Catholics of idol worship for having them in churches (and destroying any they came across)
I don’t know about the KJV only guy being in hell. I sort of got the impression he thinks the KJV-only controversy is unimportant while Catholicism is still around (and of course, a lot of English Calvinists were opposed to the KJV, considering it too “Catholic” and a bad translation.
And if you look at what he criticizes Jerry Fallwell, for example, for…he says:
This makes sense from the webauthor’s perspective. If Catholicism is the antichrist, to criticize a children’s television character as imoral while ignoring the evils of Catholicism must seem like the height of foolishness or hypocrisy.
