If Michelle Bachman wins the nomination...

…God help me, I’m writing in Alfred E. Neuman.

It will mean the Republican Party has conceded the election. During its convention.

Especially if she beats Palin for the nomination (though I doubt Palin will bother to actually run.)

Bachmann will be the nominee of whatever the Tea Party morphs into. The GOP will nominate somebody “electable” like Romney, and the Tea Partiers will go apeshit and bolt the party. Don’t know what it will be called, but there is going to be a batshit third party in 2012.

Oh, I feel a migraine coming on …

Very true. I’m glad I made my Mom promise to vote for Palin if she ran.

The freshman Republican class in congress wants serious change, but that term was already taken.
Seems they will continue to vote “no” on anything and everything, just to make the incumbent democrat look like he made no progress. Spite in it’s purest form.

The class that was supposed to make huge changes, will be remembered as the class that could only say no. Great job guys, thanks for fixing everything.

The party of ‘no’. I agree.

Batshitthirdparty.org is still available :stuck_out_tongue:

the guano party?

But vote counters will (successfully) make the argument that they are one and the same. Please don’t do this… vote instead for Bing Crosby. Or Francisco Pizarro.

Or Francisco Franco, who, despite being (still) dead, would be a more viable candidate.

I am so excited about the idea of a Bachman general election campaign I’m almost willing to send a donation. It would be so entertaining. Also, I think the odds of Obama getting elected unanimously are not very good, but if there was a way to make that happen, this would be it.

Bachmann is submissive to her husband. She said he told her to go to law school and then become a tax atty. Her husband was speaking through god.
Why not just run him? He is the one who makes the decisions.

And as a bonus you can get the country re-decorated. Og knows you could use some fabulousness.
