Great choice! I also saw Pushing Daisies got a few gos also, another good one!
A forgotten show that aired in the early '90s: The Powers That Be. A super-witty sitcom with a stellar cast, and very relevant to our current political climate.
He’s got a Netflix original special coming up, plus two videos of his standup.
Is there anything specific about the show and not the man that you want?
Solitary.
was this the game show that had people in pods? If so I still think about that show and a few of the things they had to do. I remember binge watching on a sunday all the shows in a row… Loved it
I would bring back the show Coupling from BBC I loved every episode. Thought it was brilliant.
Star Trek, but only with the original cast. All of them, so get cracking on that Resurrection Machine! And they better be the right ages, too. None of this “40 years later” bullshit. I want them young and healthy and ready to do Seasons 4 - 12.
A show that nobody watched on Showtime (probably why it was cancelled after two seasons) starring Hank Azaria as a psychologist and his crazy friend Oliver Platt called Huff. Such a great show with so many strings left hanging. . …
The Office that aired on NBC. Always liked workplace comedies
*Twin Peaks * and it’s actually happening.
I’ll also mention Pushing Daisies. I don’t understand why it wasn’t wildly popular. It doesn’t even seem to have much of a cult following.
*Early Edition * is another one that should have had another season or two.
I loved Coupling! I was wrong to keep this to one show only.
Fernwood/America Tonight
Jericho
Or Firefly
I would take either.
Also, Pushing Daisies would be in the top 3.
My So-Called Life. So much territory to explore.
Stargate: Atlantis or Universe. I don’t remember for sure where Atlantis ended off; I think they cranked out a couple TV movies to tie up loose ends and I wish they had just shot another season of regular episodes. Universe kind of ended on a good note, except for that one guy who probably had to step out of an airlock, but I’d still like to see more stories about the lives of the people on the ship.
Most of the ones I would list are impossible because the cast members have died and I can’t really imagine anyone else in the roles: F Troop, Laugh-In, WKRP – stuff like that. Some have been tried but they all died a fairly painful death.
Which brings me to Six Feet Under. They closed that one down pretty definitive but ------ it would be cool to see someone try. The other one that springs to mind is Top Gear with the old trio if the BBC could admit its mistake and could steal them back from Amazon.
Well, if we’re gonna do that, I’d like the original The Avengers with Patrick Macnee and Diana Rigg.
The West Wing, for obvious reasons. They could start right where they left off
My knee-jerk reaction was Pushing Daisies, but I’d really prefer another season of The Wire.
eureka with out all every season magical reset …although I think the female love intrest is doing another show ,
