Because once the name change happened all of his previous posts change from being by VCO3 to the new name, so there was a current thread of his that I posted in, that the day before was started by VCO3, but then it showed it was started by the new name.
I suggest “Abort!, Abort!”

The user name changes, but if quoted by another poster the old name stays in that quote box.
