Well if I get to sell them, I’ll take whichever have the most resale value. If I have to keep them to use, one will be an all-electric model, I’d have to look. The other would be something with the best repair record (i.e., not needing them)
Yeah I know, but I’m just not a car man. I’ve owned my cars for 10 years, 8 years, 10 years, 14 years. For a about 20 years we were a two car family. Had one for 12, then the other for 8. It got totaled.
A Firebird, which my friends wouldn’t be allowed to drive unless they bribed me mightily with food (cooking it themselves gives extra points). I don’t remember the exact year of the one I fell in love with but it was second generation if I’m reading Google’s results correctly.
A small one with good mileage and maintenance and all that stuff. For example, the C1 I already have. Eventually I might upgrade it to whatever Daimler is selling at the time, but not before the current one has become unreliable; because of my job I do things such as take the Little Car from Spain to Belgium or Sweden, spend months there and drive back, so I’d rather not have a car that needs to spend more time at the mechanic’s than at the sidewalk.
That’s it.
I’ll take a Ford GT40, original 60s or current era
Bathtub Porsche because style
And a BMW M5, but I need to research the year to get the best one.
Well, if I won tonight’s Powerball, I’d buy 3 cars;
A Tesla X
A BMW X5
A Ford Escape
Wait, one of these not like the others? Yeah, because no one is going to pick out the guy in jeans and a regular shirt driving a Ford as being a rich lottery winner.
And all SUV types because I’m getting too old and broken down to get into low cars anymore.
I’m keeping my current daily driver (small SUV) along with my fancy cars so I can be incognito when not heading to a car event.
I’d buy a Model T or maybe a Model A or maybe an Edsel – ANY old junker jalopy built before cars had Check Engine lights!
Well, obviously, an ice cream truck. Not sure about the other two though, so I’ll just say a Tesla and the stair car from Arrested Development.
Triumph TR6
Chevy Chevelle SS396
Jeep CJ7
A British sports car for summer driving, a Jeep for beach trips, and a Chevelle, for when I have to get somewhere fast in a straight line.
A beige 1961 DeSoto with a red interior. It was the car my parents brought me home from the hospital in. I cried brokenhearted when my dad drove it away for the last time.
A Volkswagen Bug painted up to look like Herbie.
The Bluesmobile, fully reassembled of course.
I’m not a car person by any stretch, but for some reason, I really like the looks of a '62 Corvette - red with white, of course.
I also loved and really miss my '97 Aerostar.
Third choice would have to be something like a '57 Bel Air - they look so comfortable.
1991 Volvo 240 in black with the tan interior and sunroof. It was my first car and I never should have sold it.
25th Anniversary Lamborghini Countach with the chrome finish and no wing.
1948 Ford F1 pickup in flat black. Spend the rest of my days hot rodding the shit out of it.
A flying car, those should be on the market for around $200k pretty soon.
M1A2 Abrams.
Lamborghini Reventon.
A 1930s Lagonda, a classic 1960s Jaguar, and something sensible like my old Saturn SL2 to actually drive around in.
Turns out, the cash needed would be under $400k!
Anything convertible, probably a brand-new Corvette.
Porsche Cayenne because I’ve always loved Porsche cars and I need an SUV on here
for shopping and whatnot
Whatever Mrs. Cups wants. Probably another sedan.
Not much into cars, but first I would buy the latest Tesla, then for tooling around town and fitting into all those tiny parking spaces no one else can, a Smart Car. For the third I guess I would replace my ten year old Fit with the latest one.
Millennium H3-45 Luxury Coach (preferably with driver included)
1938 Talbot Lago
1939 Lincoln Zephyr, modernized with power steering and disc brakes
