If I had to switch, it would be to CanOfBadClams
Sgt Schwartz, I’m reading that George R.R. Martin novel now! It’s a good one. You’d have to use his distinctive spelling, though: Fevre Dream. Or how about Capt. Abner Marsh, if you’re looking for a promotion?
Another very good Martin book, “Tuf Voyaging,” would yield the username Haviland Tuf.
Or I could go with one of my favorite Steve Martin roles, in “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels,” and be known henceforth as Prince Ruprecht.
That wasn’t my intention, but I like it! Since plays on words seem to be standard around here, I was going for “lunacy”
Dick Canopy. It just cracks me up for some reason.
I think Eats Crayons’ name is clever and funny.
I did toss around the idea of taking my CoH character name, but I keep coming back to Bites When Provoked.
A more accurate reflection of my personality would have been Devil’s Advocate, but the other is just that bit more cutesy. And since I keep being mistaken for a guy on here, I think I need all the cutesy I can get.
That, my friend, is a screen name it itself!
gee-gaw would still fit the whole initials thing
My mind wandered in church yesterday as I thought
**Spike Nard **
would be fun. (The perfumed oils the woman poured on Jesus were referred to as spikenard and I didn’t remember having heard that before.)
How about ‘Brightpenny’?
Anything more male.
I’d change mine to Bob.
No, I don’t know why, I just would.
HillBilly Ocean has a nice ring to it.
In honor of a former member, I think I could elicit some laughs with the name The GrayPest.
I’d probably change to something meaningfull like
I burning you Opal
Incessant Princess Bride Reference
TNT Bonapart
Carrol Channing’s Underwear
All the names are silly but at least they’re not named after my dog or people aren’t left with the impression that I spent time in a prison in the South.
I laughed.
Enjoy,
Steven
My real name is Britt, and I post to other boards under my real name sometimes. “Britt” is taken here, but I’ve mused about changing it to Ponsonby Britt. Points to whoever spots the reference.
I thought of changing it to Invisible Woman. Other names, because they’re favorite words are widdershins and kerfuffle, which I sometimes use elsewhere.
