If your Democrat of choice loses the nominee; will you vote for the other?

I’m optimistic Clinton would bump off Obama for power.

I probably won’t vote at all unless there’s something important on my local ballot.

It depends. If she’s the VP nominee, then yes, I would begrudgingly vote for the “other guy.”

If she isn’t, I’d most likely vote third party.

Anything that keeps Clinton out of the White House is how I will vote… Period.
And its a terrible world where for the past 4 presidential elections, everyone has voted for the candidate who they hated the least. This election is no different for me.

I don’t really get either the Hillaryvulsion or the Obamadoration. I’ll vote for whomever’s name is on the ballot.

I’m not thrilled with either Clinton or Obama, and I honestly don’t think McCain is so bad, but there are certain policies on the Republican platform that ensure that I won’t ever vote Republican.

I like Obama quite well, but I cannot support Clinton, for numerous reasons. I think she’d be a terrible president, and I really want to see as little of the Clintons as possible for as long as possible.

I detest the way she’s run her campaign. I detest her defeat-my-fellow-democrat-at-all costs tactics. I detest her negative, lying campaigning. I hate the way she tries to spin “truth.” I detest her hypocritical, wagging finger “shame on you Obama.” I hate her demonize-the-opposition mentality.

I don’t know whether I can vote for McCain. But I’m pretty sure I cannot vote for another Clinton.

Maybe I’ll be able to vote for Chelsea. But Hillary? No.

I’m another who will vote for Obama, but if Clinton wins the Democratic nomination, I will not vote for her. I don’t know if I would vote for McCain; I’d likely vote third-party.

Yet another who will not vote for Clinton. I’d even have trouble voting for Obama if he chooses Clinton as a running mate.

Yup, me too. I would never vote for McCain just because I wasn’t thrilled with Obama getting the nod- there is too much at stake to not have a dem in the White house.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.
I will vote for whatever candidate has a capitiol letter D after their name.

I’ll vote for any democrat. The only issue this election, bar none, is the supreme court. Every other thing pales in comparison. This election will have a profound and lasting impact for generations. All other issues are comparatively meaningless.

Hell, the supreme court situation is so dire at this point, that I’d vote for Jimmy Carter over a returned-to-life Abraham Lincoln. We all know the next president will tip the balance and that balance will most likely stay tipped for decades.

I’d vote for either. The fact that Hilliary wins when people make up their minds at the last minute shows that most Democrats think both the candidates are worthy, and it’s a tough decision to pick one.

Either one gets my vote.

I respect McCain, but I differ with him on too many things to vote for him.

Do you really think that’s possible? If the president wants, he or she can make the vice president virtually irrelevant. Cheney does what he does with Bush’s blessings.

I prefer Obama, but I’d vote for Clinton.

I’ll vote for either. In Texas, it won’t matter.

>Either/both. I’d prefer Obama, but I vastly prefer either of them to McCain.

I’m with whiterabbit.

UUHHHGGG - What a question. It’s really the $64,000 question.
It’s no secret that I think Obama can walk on water, and I prefer his politics and change methodology to Clintons. I just don’t know if I could vote Clinton in the general…
Maybe.
