Whoops too late. Never file a NEG until you have exhausted every possible other route. You have at least 90 days to file it, so take your time.
That was my plan. But then everyone was like “file a negative” What can I say, I’m very susceptible to peer pressure
Hey FireEngine, I went to school with someone who shares your surname. Any chance you’re related to Peter? He’d be about 28 now. Google only came up with 900-odd hits on the surname, so I figure it’s pretty uncommon.
You know someone with the last name Fire Engine?
Well if they live in Ausralie, then I’m very most likely related to them. I have our family tree on cd, and through searching, Peter Behrendorff brings up two Peters, neither of which would be around 28. But the family tree is undoubtedly incomplete, it was composed by one lady, and I imagine is quite a momentous task. I’m surprised she has so many. I believe she is always updating, so if you have any contact details on this peter, she’d love to hear them.
I’m surprised you remembered that guys surname. I always think Behrendorff would be easy to forget. You didn’t nickname him “behrendorff” as well did you?
“Nicknames are supposed to be shorter than your usual name fucks!”
Cheers
Engine
Yup, good old Peter Engine.
He’s registered on Schoolfriends.com.au if you’d like to tip your family history researcher off. I believe one of our mutual classmates had an email from him a couple of years ago.
I’ve got a pretty good memory for names, and as there were only about 40 or 50 kids in my year level in primary school, it’s pretty easy to recall
I didn’t nickname him anything. I’d be surprised if I’d ever spoken directly to him. He was a boy, you know, and I was a girl, so there’s a huge social gulf right there.
Okay, so I finally get time to go to the bank today, and after quite a fuck around, it turns out they can’t do anything because I authorised the transaction.
And I can’t really do anything further with eBay until after 30 days have expired
But I’ll file a Trust and Safety Webform anyway.
