I don’t suppose there is anyway, when you have someone on your ignore list, that you don’t have to see when they’ve been quoted?
I believe you can learn a lot, even from people with whom you strongly disagree so I don’t generally put people on my ignore list but I’m sick of reading a thread only to have to read about the poor persecuted pedophile.
You could have posted the same question without identifying the user on your ignore list. Even though you did not name the user, it is clear from your post who it is; doing so is not permitted outside of the Pit.
Please do not do this again. You have been warned.

I’ve been looking for a vBulletin add on for Firefox for a while now. I’d heard there was one, but no addon search ever revealed it. I was beginning to think it didn’t exist. How did you find it?
I also want to point out that the site is sometimes really slow. It will sit there loading long enough that you think it must be down, but, it will eventually work. Or, at least, it did for me. Anyone who wants it but is having problems can PM me. If I get more than a few requests, I may try copying it to another site, if legally permissable.
Oh. Em. Gee! It makes a person’s post completely disappear! None of that “You have chosen to ignore this person’s posts.” message. I am in message board heaven and it’s all thatnks to you xash.
I don’t think a warning is in order. She didn’t identify the poster, and it’s not clear who the poster is to anyone who did not read a certain thread or threads.
Yes, she could have posted the question without the example that caused her to ask it; but I think an official warning is not merited.
Concur. GloatyFlimpy was completely within the rules and, as a matter of fact, appears to have gone out of her way to do so. The warning should be rescinded.
