I'll eat just one...oops they're all gone!

Ever plan to eat just one or two or a little of something and the next thing you know you ate a tub of frosting? When’s the last time you accidentally scarfed down the entire box, jar, bag etc. without planning it?

Couple weeks ago, with a pack of rainbow Twizzlers. I’d gotten my sense of taste fully back for the first time in forever (sinus issues which had [sadly temporarily] cleared up), and the flavour dragged me along, until there were none left…

I rarely buy cookies at the grocery store because once I open them one box becomes one serving.

I think it’s nice that Girl Scout cookies come in single-serving packages.

Peanut Butter M&Ms. Terrible things. Just terrible.

Never, because I don’t take the bag or container with me. I take the cookie, piece of candy, or handful of chips or crackers and walk away. Having to get up again to get more is than enough of a disincentive for me.

Fritos. I always finish the large bag. Just discovered Jalapeño Fritos, even more irresistible.

Potato Chips (Lays to be specific). I simply don’t keep them in the house, because the bag will be empty the day I open it.

If I bring chocolate in the house, I must eat it. The self denial starts at the store, I stand in the aisle reading labels, trying to convince my self it’s poison. Eventually I pick something and go to check out immediately. And then I have to contend with the candy bars there. It should be a law against putting candy at the check out.
Really, y’all I am out of control.
I admit it.
Isn’t that half the battle?

Chipotle Peanuts from Aldi.

Wife: Didn’t I just buy a can of chipotle peanuts?
Me: It would appear you didn’t.

Cool Ranch Doritos. I can, and often do, eat an entire bag without even thinking about it.

Also the store brand salt & vinegar potato chips have become my new “snack crack”. I’ll just keep shoveling them in, even though they are making my mouth hurt something awful.

A roll of the traditional Sweettarts. Whole thing, GONE!

Even is Ben and Jerrys “Cherry Garcia” came in 1/2 gallons it would still be a single serving container.

Cadbury Mini Eggs. I try to buy only the small bags to limit their damage.

Dry roasted peanuts are my downfall. Since the peanut part is just a vehicle for the yummy salty coating, it’s easy to eat more than I meant to without realizing it.

I must gather my family around me if I open a box of Crunch ’ Munch because an open box of Crunch 'n Munch is an empty box of Crunch 'n Munch. Does not matter the size.

::as I smugly snack on just one pistachio and then go on to More Important Things:::wink:

Boursin on Triscuits. That stuff’s my kryptonite.

You know those cans of Pringles…

Mine used to be Peanut…then Peanut Butter…and now Caramel. I bought myself 2 packs last night (cuz you know, they’re cheaper if you buy 2) and I thought I’d have a few a day just to curb those cravings.

I ate one pack last night and foolishly opened the other today at lunch. They’ll be gone by this evening I’m sure.

I also have a weakness for grapes!! Sadly for a Type 2 diabetic, they’re just about as bad as M&M’s. sigh.
