I solved today’s Redactle (#63) in 32 guesses with an accuracy of 62.50%.

I went down the wrong path on this one for a while and was getting 0-1 hits on so many words. I was stumped on that first sentence for the longest time (largest whats of what?). Sometimes going down the wrong path actually helps though…in today’s case, one incorrect path was government related, and I had tossed out the word ‘branches’, which actually helped fill in a part of that first sentence, to my surprise. I then thought what other types of branches are there? Oh, religion!

I could have had this one a lot sooner than I did. My first thought was it could be an alcohol drink, and I thought Beer and Wine fit the 4 letters, but I second-guessed myself and went on a long food-related journey instead. I’m fine with my score though…just kind of kicking myself is all.

I solved today’s Redactle (#65) in 71 guesses with an accuracy of 45.07%.

Tough one for me today. Took me until guess #43 to get to India. I put religion in for a guess shortly after, but only got 3 hits, so that threw me off a bit. Then guess #62 to get Hinduism. Sussed out it had to be a Hindu tradition of sorts, and well…had to resort to looking up traditions of Hinduism. So not sure if that counts as a valid solve, but I got there :wink:.

I gave up on 65, couldn’t even be bothered looking it up. So still don’t know what it was.

Got to Hinduism at 52, then Sanskrit at 54, at this point… ain’t gonna happen

Yes, that’s where I was at around 29, with a pretty high level of specificity, so I ended up looking it up as well. The term wasn’t familiar to me.

Yeah, had to google a phrase after about 80 guesses to narrow it to be related to Hinduism. Then took another 20 attempts guessing various deities and relations , had enough and googled a far more specific phrase revealed after the guesses to get the exact article.

As per usual (lately!), had no clue and was just tossing out random words to try and fill in sentences, and when “All in the Family” was finally revealed, I thought ok…Sitcom. BINGO!

I’m really not very good at these, but I didn’t need any help on this one at least.
