A couple of people realized what the song was when they first got their sheet music, but kept the secret.
The first verse in my arrangement begins with a tuba solo, and the tuba player was so surprised and amused that he was laughing and couldn’t finish the solo, so I jumped in with a homemade kazoo. 
People were generally amused at my prank.

My afternoon went lots better than I expected. Since I had an expired CAC, it only took about 5 minutes to get a new one, rather than the 30-ish minutes it takes for first-timers. Then I went to WalMart and got most of the stuff on my list, plus a few extras. I skipped the cucumbers - they looked nasty.
Supper is sketties. The house is open and fresh air abounds. Except for the stoopit computer crashes, it’s been a good day. Yay!
We have supped and it was good. I’ve had da cave windows open and ceilin’ fans goin’ this afternoon. Feels good up in here!

CupCakes when you first retire, it is imperative that you get up early at least some mornin’s, get a cup of coffee, go outside, sit down, and point and laugh at everyone goin’ to irk. Fun!
Instead of sketties, we had a pasta bake - which means instead of long pastas, we had bow tie pastas baked with sauce and topped with provolone. Muy yummy!
Chillage ensues.
Except for irk and mailing a package(shotglass exchange) I haven’t done much. Right now water is boiling and macaroni is cooking.
I know what you mean. 
I have smiled to myself when I drive by on my way up I5. Bumba lives that-a-way, I think. Oh well, I suspect we’ll be back at least part time at some point.

My daughter just sent me a picture of my granddaughter’s poop face. Apparently it’s a surprising evolution for her. I don’t think I’ll be using it as my wallpaper any time soon…
What does it mean poo…no, I don’t want to know. NM.
It’s the face she makes when she poops. All part of the photo album that will be pulled out one day to embarrass her in front of future boyfriends.
emily, you would have fit right in band camp when I was in high school.
bumba, I find that certain DVR recordings do that too. It also happens for certain video content that I stream from Roku.
I found the shot glass for the exchange today. Now all’s left is to package it up and get it to the post office. I also got my shot glass package today. Thanks Mooooom! The package also included a nice china teacup, a tea light and a St. Pat’s hat. Methinks a shot of Jamieson’s is in order.
Friday I am having a cortisone shot for my trigger finger. I could not watch a YouTube video of it…
It is warm in no. Illinois. 77F. Windows open and ceiling fan on. Any warmer and the a/c goes into chill mode. I really don’t care for summer. I know, I’m weird.
Wow, Red, that was fast! USPS said it would be 7-10 days. And it’s not a tea light - it’s a penguin light!!
Mooooom, once I pulled it out for closer inspection, I found that it would be a cute Xmas ornament. 
Spaghetti was supper. Twas good.
Back ache still gone. Yay.

Here’s something I don’t understand - why would a convenience store that doesn’t have a sit-down eating area offer free WiFi?? Maybe I’m missing something, but aren’t most convenience store transactions pretty much in-pay-go? Even when the lines are long, you’re rarely there more than 5 minutes… I don’t get it.
Looking for 70s today, and 80s thru the rest of the week. Jumped right from winter to summer… stoopit weather.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN 'Tis 54 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 84 and N.O.S. for the day. Today is laundry day. Rah. Sonny’s will provide sup tonight as we have a BOGO free coupon. St. Louis style ribs are in my future!
Sunny I forgot to mention one does this in one’s jammies. The whole point bein’ to neener the neighbors which is always fun. Afterwards one can go back to bed if one desires.
Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, onward into the day!
