Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 53 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 83 and N.O.S. for the day. Cave spiffin’ is on the agenda today along with whatever else comes along. Burgers and fries shall be supped upon. I like that I will be able to open all the windows and air the place out as well.
Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, onward into the day! Rah.
Morning all. Bright sunny day and doing my 3-month budget planning, which shows me in good shape, so all is right with the world…until I remember my dentist appointment this morning…
Not much else to do, soccer coaching all weekend and Saturday and no rain in the forecast.
Now need to clean up and get prepared to handle the tooth…
Doggio, you should be ashamed of yourself. :o …missing the video from the greatest camp wind orchestra of all time.
It’s Moanday, sunny now, but not for sunrise, again.
School is over so I can give my son The List.
He turned in his final assignment yesterday. I had proofread it at least 3 times for him and as soon as he posted it I saw a typo.
Figures.
Lots to do today, and some phone calls to make.
I hate making phone calls.
An old pet sitting client called me over the weekend, and then again this morning. I don’t know what she wants, she left a message to call her back. I don’t want to, but I probably will since the last time I ignored her she threatened to call the police to do a welfare check on me.
I don’t have enough time to talk to the people I do want to talk to, let alone those I don’t.
Very very busy morning. I did remember to make a list, tho.
I’ll be leaving work early to get a new CAC, and I’ll run by WalMart for a few things since it’ll be on my way home. Hope I remembered everything I wanted on the list.
I’m root canaled and scaled. I swung through the cheap Chinese place down the street for aig drop soup for lunch. I should be in chewable shape for supper.
At music camp, I played my most elaborate prank ever. I’d arranged some music for my wind orchestra. The title of the arrangement said it was a silly arrangement of music by Mozart, but once the band was playing it, they realized it was “Never Gonna Give You Up.”
So I essentially got an entire orchestra to rick-roll themselves.
Midget, brilliant!! What was their reaction once they caught on?
spidey, flytrap, I have a little list; I’ve got them on my list; let none of them be missed; let none of them be missed…
Sunny, good news on the housing front. Hope the lawyer thing works out.
Butters, hope the back stays pain-free.
Dental appointment led to another dental appointment to fill in a couple of spots, then ate a late lunch and did my May grocery shopping, so the MM larder is…full of lardy stuff.
Now a couple hours in internetting before I’m of to coach youth soccer.
All people who have flabby hands and irritating laughs–
All children who are up in dates, and floor you with 'em flat–
All persons who in shaking hands, shake hands with you like that–
All MMPers who went posting plagiarize Gilbert and Sullivan–
Hello All, I’m late to the party. At least I’m home from work and sitting with my feet up. Dinner is a pasta bake that’s already prepped, so I just need to pop it in the oven, yay! I’m happy the rest of my Monday should be pretty chill. I hope everyone has a fabulous week, enjoy!
Happy ‘who cares what day it is when you’re retired’ day!
I has a question. Our new TVs volume control goes from 1 to 99. For reference, we usually have it somewhere between 25 and 35, depending. Except when playing something back from the DVR. Then I have to turn it up. Sometimes way up. Like to 80 or even 90. especially when we’re watching something where the actors have foreign accents. Does anyone else have this ‘feature’? I expect it has to do with how the DVR (Hopper) records sound, but I’m wondering if this is normal, or if our unit is malfunctioning.
Good one Midget
Sorry you’re gonna move out of Orygun Sunny. I know it’s not like we ever see each other IRL but I liked knowing there was someone else from my part of the country in the MMP. All these other peeps live * way over there*. In the* ‘before time’.*
